In the HZRDUS black line up for hybrid shafts its low spin and low launch. With 6.5 being X and 5.5 being stiff. Just like iron shafts. I'd say your right on the edge, so 5.5 probably will feel soft in your hands. I would try the 6.0 which would be right in the middle of both. Or if you feel like you can handle it, go with the 6.5.
In the Taylormade Staff Bag:
Driver: Taylormade M1 10.5* w/ HZRDUS Red 65X
3wood: Taylormade M1 15* w/ HZRDUS Red 75X
Hybrid: Taylormade M1 19* w/ HZRDUS Black 85X
Irons: Taylormade Psi Tour (3-pw) w/ DG X100 TI
Wedges: Taylormade EF (52,58) w/ DG X100 TI
Putter: Bettinardi Inovai 3.0 Counterbalance 37"
Anyone know what I should get out of a project x hybrid shaft? Swing speed 105-110.
Is the 6.0 a stiff and 7.0 an x?
You are correct. At your speed I would tip the 6.0 a bit, probably half an inch (unless it is going in a taper tip iron head). They play a touch on the softer side. It's a great shaft, and for like $80 or whatever it is, it's a great buy.
