Check these threads out, I think I'm going to attempt this to my raw vokeys and was wondering if anyone's tried it out and has any tips or results. Already bought the gun blue kit at CTire, so I'm almost ready to go!

You guys should take precautions if you're going to do this. I think that the chemicals that make up the gun blue are quite toxic, especially when heated and in vapour form (potentially inhaled).Comment

I have gunned a vokey as well as a few camerons and they look really nice. From time to time you will have to re-apply, especially for the wedges as it wears pretty quick, especially on the sole. Check on ottawagolf, bunch of guys have done it and they show the process andsome before/after picsR15 BLACK 9.5

Yeah I figure since I have the stuff (and yes the kit was only $15 at canadian tire) it's just a matter of wiping on a new application every few months. That's not such a big deal at all.
