I may have asked last year when I joined, but I always wonder about the overall experience....
If a member of a private club, I know the clubhouse, the amenities, practice facilities, restaurants, golf pro..... mean a lot..... But for me they mean almost nothing when I go golfing. Food if I'm in a tournament may matter or if they have a deal, but I just want to put on my shoes, get to the first tee and play a round in about 4 hours (the horrors of having a family and every once in a while work responsibilities).
So I mention Cherry Downs as an example of a CL course where the costs are very low due mostly to the fact the Clubhouse and amenities are not up to those at the other courses.
What are others views????
