Definitely Cherry Downs. They are razor quick. But I also like the course layout. Very challenging, and contoured.

Not a layout that I find particularly appealing. But kept trying because of those green speeds.
A few of my usual playing partners always complain about the lay out. Personally I love it. Always humbled by that course.

KR Member Guest (one of the best in Clublink) is Wednesday/Thursday...greens will be double cut and rolled.
Should make for some slithery putts.
Our super has been keeping the greens long to protect them so they are in top shape for the event.

Played WD a week ago, they were running well but not fast for WD. They just had their club C on the weekend so would have been stimped up. Play their MG each year, which is in a few weeks and for that they have the greens running better than any other course ive seen.....firm , fast and treacherous

I was wondering about that on Friday... course is in great shape, but it was like putting on velcro! (Very true velcro mind you...)

As an aside, #4 is a gorgeous hole now with the corner trees removed and the new bunkering.

Agreed, #4 is a much better hole. #6 is still my favourite with #13 a close second.

Wyndance's greens have been quick but no more than usual. Played Eagle's Nest a few weeks ago and they were some of the fastest I've played

Played Lebovic today and holy crap those greens were perfect...blazing fast and true.
                      Course is in superb condition.

played cherry downs and agree it's fast because they don't water the greens. Ball marks hardly have any indents on the greens as the ground is rock hard.
Not a fan of the layout. mostly straightaways and narrow tree lined to increase difficulty.

Pretty hard to keep turf alive if you don't water it

Oakmont doesn’t water their greens - ever. They get water when it rains. Arguably best poa greens in America.

Find the evidence to back that claim up. Next youll say they dont use fungicide
