  • Deal of the season!

Starter at Bellmere Winds told us yesterday that for the month of Sept you can do a stay and play for $100 per person!
All you can golf both days and stay in mobile home (cottage) 2 min down road.
He said you can pre book replay rounds
    which is a caveat.
Must call Bellmere Corp for deal.
    Great boys trip.
Reservations can be made now, so don't wait. Once word gets out , early times will be gone.

kich, what was the course like. I've read some very unflattering reviews (no clubhouse/pro shop, carts not working, less grass more clover, no food), but I'd rather hear it from someone I trust.

      Here we go Bob.
Carts have GPS and worked fine.
Just a pro shop with a little patio overlooking course.
      Bring food.
      Putting green, no range.
Similar to Black Diamond in routing . Front 9 hilly, 11-17 flat.
Cart paths a little bumpy in spots, gravel ,not bad. Public course, keep in mind.
      Not to Trilliums standards .
Greens are nice and undulating. Good pace, but not fast .
There is some clover here and there.
      No big deal for me.
Front 9 is more challenging than the back.
Back 9 has 4 par 4's that go back and forth and a little bland.
2 par 3' over water are nice.
      9th hole is really a par 4.5.
Fescue is pretty thick in alot of spots.
      We played blues.
Gold's are a challenge especially if windy.
They need to update the scorecards.
The signs at each hole is the right distance.
They made the 1st hole a rinky dink 315 yd par 4 which bugs me.
Use to be a solid par 5.
      Pace of play probably.
      The knock is it's slow!!
      No 15 min tee times!
      At least yesterday.
Usually we fly around first round, expect slower in afternoon.
