Re: Poll C.C. West vs. Rattle Copperhead
I will go CC West; had you asked me two years ago it would be Copperhead but as I became more target intense I find Copperhead hard to focus on. I still like Copperhead, but will play CC West much more.
I like CC West a lot, played there today. Great course. Nice lay out.

Personally I would rather play CC East.

I vote (although slightly biased) towards Copperhead. CC West has too many gimicky/goofy holes to get my vote. What's in the Bag?

Maybe Hole # 11 with the uphill approach but I can't think of any others that fit your definition? I think CC West is a great course - always in excellent great shape , great pace of play, and really fun to play ...

you could easily complain about 11 as well. although I think it's an amazing view from the tee with that bowl framed by forest on both sides.
East is far better. While the 13th is truly awful, the rest of the East is excellent. 2 and 3 are awesome back to back par 4s
5 is a fun short par 4...straight ahead and drivable, but tough enough to mess you up. Compare the drivable hole on West...7...it's goofy. They hid the green around a corner behind some trees. That's weak. All the par 5s out on East are solid...some reachable and a definite opportunity to make 3, but also tough.
Good-Great holes on West - 2,6,9,10,17
Good-Great holes on East - 2,3,6,7,8,9,12,15,16,17

Re: Poll C.C. West vs. Rattle Copperhead
I'd have to go with C.C. West, mostly because of the shape of the greens. Both courses at Rattlesnake always end up with the greens beaten to hell by the time the summer come around due to the amount of tournaments. I did love the stretch of 15 - 18 on Copperhead, though. I may be a little biased though, as C.C. West was probably my favourite course to play when I was a member and if I were to join Clublink again, I'd probably go with Country Club as my home course.
