  • Opening dates for 2006?

    Hello all...Just wondering if anyone knows when the golf courses are going to be opening their doors for the 2006 season?
    My weapons of choice
    Driver: Taylormade R7 superquad 9.5 stiff
    on back up:Titleist 905R, Fujikura 26.3 Tour platform series Stiff
    3&5 Wood: Taylormade v-steel
    on back up: Titleist 904F, Aldila NV
    Hybrid: Ping Rapture 18* Aldila Proto "By you"
    3-pw: Mizuno mp33 stiff flex steel
    56 and 60 wedges: cleveland cg10
    putter: ping redwood anser

      why not use a venue where there are knowlegable people reading? Thanks for your help by the way

          Plan for mid April, that is usually a good bet.

            I think most courses are officiallly open april 8th.I guess it mostly depends on the next few weeks of weather.

              I'm hoping for April 1st (no foolin)

              Just heard we will be hitting the driving range today as one ours is opening at 10am today and tomorow. It will be packed im sure but it's outside and we get to see some ball flight again.

                Are you talking about Kevin Haime's? Do you know what the hours are this weekend? I assume 10-4 or 5??

                  10-5 both today and sunday (weather permitting)

                    I have to agree, great to see the ball fly out there. Found out that most clubs are great, while others need to go! Hitting into a sim, you can only feel how solid you hit, outdoors you can see if you hit the high/low, awesome to finally see that.

                          Do you know what the green fees are for carlisle and streetsville? By open, do you mean flags in the green?

                            i didn't bother to ask what the green fees are as was a quick call...however, he did tell me the greens were a bit wet; i assume the flags are in.
