Over the years I've owned Etonics, Addidas and Footjoys.
The Footjoys have by far been the most comfortable of the 3 manufacturers.

Ecco biom hybrids for me and i have a ton of shoes but these by far..

Agreed hands down. I have worn everything you can imagine. Recently got a pair with built in orthopedics. Amazing.

the tiger woods free run based golf shoes are actually nice...

I've tried lots of shoes too

biggest complaint from people is that it looks too much like a running shoe.... but if you're walking a lot... can't be picky about looks

I'll have to second both the Ecco Bioms and Tour 360s. Both are extremely comfortable though I give the upper hand to the Tour 360s based on appearance.

What are the best golf shoes on the market today in terms of comfort for walking as well as durability? And, where are they available?

Bought premium Nike's last year when GT was selling them for over half price (purchased for $100); reeeeeally comfortable for walking!

what you describe is not available for an "over the counter" solution.

I'd take the feet to a podiatrist. Probably result in some custom leather insole shims you can transfer to most any shoe.

What does you present sole wear look like?

Pronate condition would show as an excessive inside wear on the sole.

the wear is to the outside of the rear heel. I was already at the running room and they said that I'm supinated when I'm standing still. the walk is normal for the most part. I called Nike and they recommend the Lunar shoe for the most part and I'm waiting on a response from foot joy to see what they recommend for a shoe.

Aren't all shoes made for walking?

FWIW I have flat feet and prefer wider than standard. Puma are the only golf shoes I've ever worn that don't hurt my feet. Can't say that for Footjoy, Adidas or Nike. I only wear the ones with cleats on them and they perform well in all conditions.

I walked over 100 rounds last season rotating between two different pairs of Adidas Adipower Boost. They were certainly comfortable and performed well. The only downfall for me was their durability. By the end of the season both pairs were pretty beat up.

Not sure if you are joking but I know a couple guys that wear flip flops and hit all their shots while in bare feet

I prefer wide shoes also and lean towards New Balance for running shoes, I see they also make golf shoes.

Has anyone had any experience with them?
