  • Remote controlled power cart?

I would be interested to hear what members of this board think is the very best remote controlled power cart? Some of the earlier versions a few years ago were questionable but I'm sure things have advanced since then!
If St. Andrews is the home of golf, Askernish is it's soul......!

Whatever happend to Wildcat carts ?????

I'd rather ride than have a remote controlled cart.
It would be cool if it could float

Lectronic Caddies are tanks .... of course, like everything else they are only as good as they are maintained - and not abused. The batteries are usually good for 2 years (depending upon frequency of use). If the unit is maintained properly and stored properly for the winter, etc. there is no reason why they won't last for years.

Lectronic Caddie is based in Mississauga too, which helps for getting parts. If you get one, make sure you go to one of their recommended shops for regular maintenance.

avoiding dumping them in sand traps and ponds also helps ......

Wildcat went under about 4-5 years ago. They were unreliable and were constantly breaking down. Wildcat tried a remote control cart too but I don't even know if it was released before the company went under.
