  • Ogio Bags?

Anyone have experience (Good or Bad) with Ogio golf bags?

They look sweet, and have a ton of features.

Looking at picking up the new '09 Atlas Cart bag.

    Re: Ogio Bags?

The only bag I've ever had any luck with was my original Ogio Grom (06).

While I like the Shling system, Ogio simply hasn't engineered one that can withstand the rigors of carry golf. I've had Shling clasps break on both the Flight SS and the Vision SS, the handle on Shling bags (the Vision SS in particular) break, and since moving to a Clicgear push cart, I went with an Ogio Atlas - great back except for the defective left pocket zipper.

So it seems, for me, that while they're loaded with fantastic innovation, I attract all the friday-afternoon bags.

        I agree - they're great quality bags.

The only caution I make (and this applies to all carry bags), the more pockets that are provided, it encourages you to store more "stuff" in the bag, which increases the weight you're lugging around..

ogio's club management systems are the best in the business..... Bar-none.

The legs on the stand bags are terrible. Thatis the only knock I have on them. Not so bad that I wouldn't buy another, but still not the best.

Not an issue for me... but good to know for the future!

I have a carry bag, but looking to go with a cart bag this time.

The selling feature for this one for me was the 15 full length divided club slots... no more jamming grips into each other.

Also it has 2 external club tubes, for frequently used clubs, so you're not always going to the main part of the bag, which should save some wear and tear and bag chatter.

Thanks for the input guys, confirming what I was already thinking.

I checked that one out too, and like the looks of it, but it either didn't have individual club dividers, or the dividers weren't full length.. which isn't a huge deal, but is something I was looking for in a bag.

Super light, excellent pockets/rain hood.....great straps, AMAZING legs....

Club management is so so. If you could put those legs on an Ogio Ozone, you'd have the best carry bag ever. But I guess that would be too much to ask.
