I watched a lot of golf, been around a lot of big time jr players and club pro's and hit it decent long myself...that action just didn't seem like it can go 300+ with no wind to me. I've only been around a handful of guys who have EVER hit it 330 in their life. But if you say so, then thats cool!

Yep - makes sense now with the 20-30+km/hr NW winds from yesterday.

With respect to your swing, I'd suggest lessons. Posture at setup could definitely be improved. I'm not an instructor, so I'll defer to people more qualified.

I said there was wind.

I've hit 330-340 yard par 4s in one maybe 3 times, 310 par 4s a few times a year.

But serously this wasn't about how long I hit, I asked fit swing advice if anyone had any, yet I've got none in 2 pages. Feels like golfwrx here.

I've definately seen some guys who can flat out POUND it. The guy who runs the GLT comes to mind. I used to tip it with him at Paris once in a while and I've seen some legit 350's outta him. He's caved in more drivers than I've owned.

The guys who hit it deep create a completely different sound at impact. If you've been around some seriously pure ball strikers you know what I'm refering to.

According to Google Earth, that hole is 465yds in a straight line.

That's at the tips right? The blues are way back near the 7th tee box, was actually pretty intimidating.

THAT may have been my worst ever round of golf. If it was even worthy of being called golf. In the name of all that is holy, forget you ever witnessed that.

I seem to remember that round with him as well at Brampton....as much as I was in the fairway that day, being 50 odd yards behind him sucked BAWLS.

Damn young kids these days.

When you come on here boasting about how far you hit it, you're going to get resistance. Nobody likes the guy that brags. I'd suggest toning that down a bit as you seem like an otherwise cool dood...

There are definite power leaks in your swing though, and I'm sure someone with more knowledge of the swing will chime in.

OP is not saying that he hits every drive 340 yards. I see no reason not to beleive him.

KS - there isn't much wrong with that driver swing. It would not be a good idea for us to give you advice based on a couple of videos. Go see Nick/ John (Golftime)/Aqeel if you are serious about getting more consistent and getting more distance.

See that's helpful. I need more turn.

Oh and that pic is a 290 drive, well maybe 250 of the course was 40 yards off on all holes.

That's reasonable and I don't want to come off like that. That's not why I posted vids. Sorry if it came off that way. I figure shot info is needed, just like if it snap hooked, you'd need to know.

I will be getting lessons, just wanted to see if there were any glaring issues I'm missing.
