Relative Newbie

I wanted to introduce myself and say hello. In September of last year, my wife and I moved from Ottawa to Newmarket. I'm looking forward to playing many rounds of golf in the months ahead. With luck, I'll meet a number of you.

By the way, what's the secret to inputting one's personal information into the profile? I keep getting an error message with respect to my handicap. Any suggestions?

That error putting in your handicap must be because it's too high.

You put a smile on my face. I simply entered 3.2 and it rejected it. I then tried a number of others numbers to see if it would make any difference. It didn't. I'm obviously doing something wrong. I don't know what it is.

Welcome to the board. I don't know the Newbie's, but I'm glad to hear you're their relative. All kidding aside you can't be a newbie. You were part of the OG team that got their butts kicked last year. Since that was broad casted all over this forum, you've been here for a while.

Unfortunately, I was unable to play last year because of other commitments. However, I did play the year before when I recall the outcome being quite different.

This year, you'll see me playing with the boys from Ottawa Golf. I look forward to seeing you there. Hopefully, this old body will be ready for the challenge.

My mistake. At least we know the reason they didn't repeat. Don't worry about the old body. I consider my 52 + years to be the new 30
