Seriously, when to dispose of golf shoes? I would say the first time is crosses your mind. Right up there with when to get new socks, underwear and when to stop chewing this gum.

Watching Smoak swing and miss again and again is making me grumpy.

I used to toss mine every 4 years but I've stumbled over a secret formula,( the same that dries out a submerged iphone) to keep them fresh, I expect they'll last twice that long.

You could just keep that little packet that comes in the box and says 'DO NOT EAT'

Just tossed a pair of FJ contours. Really got a lot out of them.

If they're starting to get pretty worn, leak when wet, tattered or look like grandpa's shoes, I store them aside for vacations. I'll use them during trips where I only play one or two rounds and I'll ditch 'em there. Less to bring back and leaves more room for souvenirs.

Just got my first BOA FJ, spiked, and two pairs of Ecco Streets.

Take out the spikes....use them for gardening.

Thats what I do with mine....
Being a dew runner / early morning player, I burn through 2 pairs a season.
After the waterproofing is toast, they become an afternoon shoe
After they are beyond that, yardwork shoe
After that, the remanents sit by the deck door for quick exit and entry
Then, disposal.......

Being a dew runner / early morning player, I burn through 2 pairs a season.
After the waterproofing is toast, they become an afternoon shoe
After they are beyond that, yardwork shoe
After that, the remanents sit by the deck door for quick exit and entry
Then, disposal.......

You must have a ton of gardening shoes.
