Tough to get $100 skin golfers to play what is basically just a family/beginner course.

The length is why I think it's a good venue. You don't need to be a bomber to compete.
Would love to know what you mean by family/beginner course.
Because when I went on multiple occasions with a buddy who was learning the game, that is what we saw there; beginners and family groups as in Mom, Dad, Son and Daughter type groups. Actually this is very complimentary because beginners need courses like this, plus as I mentioned elsewhere; the range and the Henry B school, just perfect for learning the complete game, without them holding up golfers on full length courses.
IMO a few of the holes are drivable Par Fours, so I can think of a couple of guys I use to play with; who would be looking at Eagles on those holes.
As stated previously; with a bunch of unknown competitors people are not going to anti up $100 not knowing who and what the competition is with no HC in place.
Actually I'd rather put up $100 on lottery tickets that way I know I am going to get screwed but still have a chance at $1,000,000.

that 'game' already exists at Harbour View (better track) on Sunday afternoons with Sonny & Peter....
is Sonny still winning.. and is this the same old trap.
