Just got an email from Golf Town leaderboard. They just closed the Scarborough Store. That really sucks to hear. Disappointed for sure.

sad, my go to store as it was literally 10 minutes away and my "kill time before works over" store

That was their 1st store. Tough choices to be made.

A lot of space now between Laird and Markham. Gonna be a lot less browsers, window shoppers.

Lots of good memories at that location. They opened just as my interest in the game took off. It was wonderful, I would drive out there almost every weekend just to wander around.

Devastating... Goodbye my friend and thank you. That's 3 down so far... Brampton, Milton, now Scarborough. Who is next?

Sudbury was the first to close (not including the King St. store).

First store I ever bought myself a set of irons at. CG14's they were.

But I'm not sentimental about the store itself. They over-expanded beyond what they needed like they could constantly drive never-ending growth in an expensive game that takes a long time to play. Sorry for the people out of work and who will miss the store.

                    No, that store does well--surprisingly.

Sad to see it go. This was my home store as well, spent countless hours (and dollars) wandering around and trying stuff...was great having it so close as when I picked up the game around 2003.

Happy to have had one last walk around the store this past Wednesday.
