Wooden Sticks was in great shape today, my first time there, I like it a lot.

We made the wise choice of paying $10 extra for the 'cart cover' ...repelled the wind very nicely

Played 23 holes my club today and what a great day for golf, started at 10:45 and just got warmer and less windy as the day went on, great day...

On a side note , thought it was quite funny when this happened but really wasn't when I look back as the golfer that it happen to Im sure is still crying at home about it.

For anyone that has played my club knows how the slope is around the 9th hole and how it leads down to the water, well we were on the tee and watching the 4some ahead on the green, when they got there one golfer wheeled his clic gear to the water side of the hole took his putter out and proceeded to walk towards the green.

Well you guesed it, he forgot to put on the brake, from the tee we could see his cart moving, ( short par 4 around the water ) it proceeded down the slope and went head over heel into the water, well I almost pissed my pants laughing , really not funny when I look back, the 4 some then for almost 20 mins tried to recover his clubs from the water, I asked the pro shop between holes and they said the golfer was still missing 6 clubs , cell phone and other items, he left the course pretty pissed the pro shop was saying, I can't imagine how I would feel if that happened to me, I would properly sit on the slope and cry, hahaha

Lots of people out today ,hard to believe golf is in decline

Not at the course I played at today around 11 am; only saw about 10 other golfers at Westview today...

Played @ 3:30 and very comfortable. Course conditions still incredible, fairways lush, greens rolling smooth, and the fall colours still in full display.

Back nine was shaky, so definitely need to go out on a better note.

Abbey round yesterday was nice, pace was good and so was condition. Gonna get out there as much as I can

Played Bond Head South yesterday (great deal on golfnow). First off at 9am. Weather was fine, but actually got colder feeling as the day wore on likely due to a bit more wind.
But overall a great day, good company, course in quite good shape, not too many leaves to deal with.

Played Hidden lake new course on Saturday just before 2pm and finished well before the sunset. With one rider (beginner) and 3 walkers, we finished in 4 hours and 10 minutes.
Layered up a lot, but I was getting good distance despite the low temperature and wind.
Playing from the correct set of tees helps, too.

I'll be playing at Cherry downs on Tuesday. Hoping for 36 holes using Underpar

Played Emerald Hills Saturday morning. It was cold and the wind made a tough course tougher! Nice track and the greens are fantastic.

Sunday Monterra in Collingwood. Not sure why but Monterra decided to take all their rakes off the course? WTF

Today at Cranberry I was the only one on the course. A light sprinkle persisted throughout the round and it was windy and cold. Greens at Cranberry were fantastic and it was nice getting around in 2 hours. I love fall golf.
