    Well to all of my friends on both sides of this competition, I am sad to say I will have to withdraw from this years squad.
    I have a tumor that requires both chemo and surgery and I will not be ready to go by the time the cup is held.
    I have privately notified our captains Dave and Gerry.
    I was hoping that I would be ready to go as this year being the rubber match it would be a match of epic proportions.
    So I say to all that will eventually represent TGN, play well, have fun and bring the cup home once again this year.

                You're as tough as nails Bruce, this won't hold you down or keep you out for long--that much I know about you. Please keep in touch and let us all know how things are coming along. And if you need some entertainment while recovering, I'll get Terry to show up in one of his outfits.
