#6 on Hoot yesterday, first I can think of.

Driver, didn't cut anything off the dogleg, 5W from 215 yds to front left of green, 30 ft putt that went in the side door.

Best thing was that the 4some ahead of us was watching from the 7th tee to let my 3some play thru. Get up to the 7th tee and one of the 4some says " Nice eagle "

Also my eagle putt on #13 stopped 2" short, still got the bird

Driver 240 yards on the fairway. Fat pulled 7 iron about 40 yards short of the hole in the rough. Holed out with a 60 degree lob wedge and just lost it. My first and only.

Another - #1 at Crosswinds par 4. Drove down left side onto green in one, 30-35ft left to right putt in for eagle.

4W up the right side - 205 left to a front pin (driver was a disaster on the back 9)
3H to 4 feet (just barely hopped on to the green)

Copetown 10, par 5.. driver well out there. PW perfectly to the front of the green, roll out to 6'.. one putt. too bad I was 3 from the tee ;-)

Another one today. Playing Century Pines from the blues on 18, figure I got pretty lucky here.

Pushed my drive right over the trees and into the first fairway. Caught a twosome picking my ball up (brand new, marked TM Lethal in the fairway) and had them drop it. Then ran in to hit a 4i to a mostly blind green quick while the group on the 1st Tee weren't ready, but my brother called me off as I didn't realize there was still a guy on the green.

So I wait out the guy on the green, and the guys teeing off on 1, then walk out, take my time, find the pin and stripe a 5i to about 8 feet. One of the best hit balls on the year.

Rolled in the putt. Other than that, round was a disaster of well hit balls into the wrong places.

One more from Friday afternoon - Lionhead Legends #7 blue tees.
Smashed a monster drive from right to left and cleared the creek - just behind the blue stake. Played a 4i to the uphill green and laid it on the back half of the green. Pin was in the front and rolled a 20 footer in.

Blue tees, 16th hole, driver, 5 iron to about 9 feet , made the slight downhill , right to left putt.

My friend eagled #7 at Tangle Creek Thurs. Driver, 6 iron. 35 footer that broke like an Augusta putt. Best eagle I've seen ever! Grounds crew was standing there enjoying it as well!

Eagled 16 at Ballantrae yesterday. I think the blue tees were up, boomed one which left me ~150 yds to a left pin behind the bunkers..stuffed a 9 iron to 8ft and made it. Bit of a cheapie..but that approach was directly into the sun

4th eagle of the year, a nice PB for me. Surely it was the rocketballz I added this year

my back went out on me early part of last week (sciatica... Ouch!)
and I was disappointed as this past Saturday was to be the big iron man tournament of the year.
Had never played but knew every single pin would be placed over hazards on the worst side slopes possible.

I decided to drug myself and play. We started on hole 13 a par 4 that everyone hates. Tee shot aims u into trees.
We hit our tee shots as a two man scramble then for approach I turn to my partner and said I just hope with my bad back I can play decently today and put a good swing on the ball, then I swung the ball landed on the green over sand trap and rolled into the cup for eagle!!

Literally first iron shot swing of the day!

I had participated in the rangs (is that how it's spelt?) we won 300 bucks.

Ps this was my 3rd par 4 eagle.

1st drove the green made putt.
2nd holed out from middle fairway.
This was my third... Last year I holed out from 160 3rd shot.. ..... But that was a par 5....So just ok

Thx... Although other silly people got me too excited saying they figured I would win $400... $500...Then$600...
Turns out they found a last minute rang otherwise would've been $450...But can't be greedy...
