My fav is the first car I ever owned. '71 Mustang Mach 1, bright blue metallic with a silver rear spoiler and no front spoiler, white interior, fully loaded with ever option available. Very similar to the pic below but without the silver hood. Engine was the 351 Cleveland with factory installed 4-barrel carb. Radar checked by a British cop at 145mph. The fastest muscle that I personally drove was a custom paint, candy apple red, Olds 442 with a Hurst floor shifter. I was 18 when I drove it, and the exhilaration that I felt accelerating that beauty has never left me. A university friend owned it. Daddy treated him kindly! Back home, I drove a tank-like Ford pickup truck.This isn't a dress rehearsal. Enjoy yourself. There's no do-over.Comment

Owning a classic myself, I spend a few evenings a month hanging out at local car gatherings, and although I don't own any muscle, I do enjoy looking at them!

68 Cutlass - any, but have a thing for the hardtop

70 Torino GT
And personal dream car (darn garage is not long enough on the side I could park my car) is the mid 60's Galaxie convertible with the big block.

Yep you nailed it. Life long st.catharines resident and many of the guys who worked at GM own some very nice GM muscle. My brother in laws dad,for instance, toiled at least 30 yrs in the foundry. He owns a 55 Bel Air, a 66 Camaro, a 63 Corvette split window, etc etc..They all look like they rolled off the showroom floor yesterday. I work close enough to plant 1 to have befriended many of the GM guys and many were car nuts thru and thru.Originally posted by hogannut View Post

I never played the game, first car was a '74 Mustang II
, then got a '77 Trans Am, then the FIRST new car I bought was an '81 Honda Prelude...probably explains the Kia Soul I drive now! ...but I can dream (my best friend growing up had a '67 GTO, which I helped him restore)
