What was this Sun reporter thinking? His lack of common sense is astounding. If you're going to pick a Twitter fight with someone, don't engage with Anderson Cooper, especially when you're not standing on the high ground.

Re: Some People Just Don't Get It.
I'd say with the unprofessional and childish rants this was warranted.
Pretty distasteful if you ask me. I actually commend Anderson Cooper for his reaction and outlash back on twitter. Made the guy look like a damn fool. Which he clearly is.

Re: Some People Just Don't Get It.
I am not a huge fan of CNN. Anderson is OK. But in this case he did a great job putting this guy in his place. SUN has enough difficulty getting credibility - idiots like this make it harder. I watched part of the Anderson Cooper broadcast last might and he did a good job - very professional.

Re: Some People Just Don't Get It.
And that's what led to his demise. He wouldn't let it go.
He could have taken Anderson Coop's answer and apologized and given it up. That way only them two would have record of the exchange.
Instead, the moron tried to take to social media to slander Coop while the country was in mourning and our southern neighbours in shock and respectfully covering the story.
Obama got flak for the selfie, apologized and people moved on.
Originally posted by laps View PostThey were both inappropriate. Obama was criticised for that selfie it was in poor taste. As President he can get away things that most people can't and he was wise to not get into a debate with the media on the appropriateness of a selfie at a funeral. The guy from SUN news should have let it drop and would not be a story. But he insisted on egging on someone with a much stronger position who also happened to be right.
