Actually not a bad idea, although I would make it until the next election. They can cross over, but their vote no longer counts. So they can do MP stuff for their constituents, but they can't be bought to bring a vote to another party.

Make them think long and hard about doing it.

But that riding is not her home. I really don't care about her politics and apparently she doesn't either. This is all just a sleazy way for her to keep collecting a cheque. Hopefully there's an "anybody but eve" campaign in the riding to send her packing and save the rest of us from having to pay her salary and pension.

Are they positive headlines though? Other than the sycophants who would defend him saying the sun rose in the west, I think most people see this as one degree or another of "he can't get party members elected so he buys off people from the other parties."

Unless of course, you mean in the sense of the only bad publicity is no publicity, then, yeah I would agree.

The press have widely reported on her various comments calling Harper a mean, bad guy. That resonates with some.

JT has grown his team, and enemies are defecting to it. That's positive.

But I'm sticking with the idea that once she falls overboard in the election, he won't be turning back to look for her.

Outside of this post I have not seen or heard that opinion expressed by anyone.

The leading reaction in the riding she has 'chosen' is: "Who?"

Among political commenters it is: "Huh?"

It's a strange one to be sure.

After reading Maxwell's posts, I promised to myself and god not to talk about Politics on here anymore. I did however change the channel when Eve came on an interview this morning on CP24. I will not discuss my political views on this subject. I did change the channel though.
