Just watched the game in six. JVR had two brilliant goals. He sure is finishing strong.

I enjoyed Babcock's post game interview. "We're gonna get with the team tomorrow and tell them what the playoffs are about. They're not gonna believe us. And then they'll learn."

You know that Jake Gardiner is a +24 (15th best in the league) and Morgan Reilly is a -20 and Nikita Zaitsev is a -22. Just saying he can't be all that bad putting up those kind of numbers

Numbers can be deceiving, when one player plays hard minutes against oponents best players, while the other guy floats around. He's been aweful all season, can't make simple plays, let's guys walk around him all day, and then the obvious mistakes like this game OH and the game vs pitt. Such a loser.

+- is a horrible antiquated stat. Gardiner has been very good offensively, but is a tire fire on defense. His decision making and horrible timing for bad plays has cost the Leafs multiple times this year.

I think we have been both blessed and fortunate this year. A lot of things have gone our way and we have not had to face adversity.
Marner, Matthews, and Nylander have excelled beyond anything we could have imagined. Kadri, JVR, and Bozak have had career years. We have also been relatively injury free.
I fear that the axe is going to drop and the team wielding the axe will be the Caps and it may be a bloody mess.
