A tourist in a wildlife park in China decides to get out of the car. What could go wrong?

It's sad to see a needless death, but... what was she thinking???

The woman was attacked, and then in the video, you could see two people getting out reacting to the incident. It was the woman's husband and mother.
If I read the article correctly, the woman who was initially attacked survived, but it was her mother who was killed by another tiger that attacked her while she was trying to help her daughter.

Had heard on the radio that there were signs to stay in the car with windows / doors locked, but the family thought they were past that 'danger' area.

That's just what I heard, but I'd be darn sure I was far far away from the area before attempting to get out of the car.

Article I read said the woman snd her husband were having an argument and she's seen getting out of the car to go confront her husband when she got attacked. Sadly for the mom, a second tiger managed to fatally maul her before park rangers could help.

Supposedly the daughter is blaming the husband for her mom's death.

Moral of the story, good people die as a result of stupid people. Now the daughter will live with this for the rest of her life... Serves her right.

As a Liveleak user there's 3 certainties.....if you could commit a crime in Brazil chances are an off duty cop will shoot you, if you drive in Russia you at some point will see a spectacular traffic accident and alcohol will be very involved and in China each day people will be killed in new and very unusual ways.

Mom got out of the back seat. She was the last one to exit the car in the video.

I live in mainland China currently, (coming home tomorrow actually) and let me tell you, there is no end to stupidity/ignorance here.

Chinese people just do not think the same way that western folks do. We are all about safety in all that we do (okay, almost all of what we do) but here, safety is an afterthought. From construction practices to driving, I give my head a good shake whenever I see something crazy being done.
