I currently have Bell internet at work and have had continual issues with their service. I have regular dsl, nothing fancy. My issue seems to be that the service seems to drop in and out continually every few minutes. Not all the time, but at certain points in the day.
Currently I am listening to a you tube video which is running non stop, but I have another tab open and just about any site I try to open I get the loading swirl and eventually a message that the site is unavailable. If I click again and again within a minute or so the site will open. This will happen even if nothing else is open as well. I just find it strange that the video runs non stop, yet I can't seem to open another tab.
I spent a few weeks dealing with this exact issue about 3 or 4 months ago with Bell, and frustratingly eventually found someone who seemed to help me get it working properly. That lasted until a few weeks ago and now again a similar type problem. I now run Google Chrome as IE just does not work anymore and Firefox seems to have the same problem.
Just curious as to what options as to service providers that I can switch to. Rogers does not service my area and wonder if I am a prisoner of Bell lines no matter who I go with.
