OK I understand that....but to boo ,how does that help....and stadium is dead empty and quiet
That happened in Toronto too. Canada played an uninspired game and the sell-out crowd got frustrated. It was the game I was most looking forward to and it was a stinker.
my buddy said he could have had 2 seats along the glass for $40 on stubhub.
Yup. Got friends at the game and they just posted a pic of empty seats, and a lot of them. Unbelievable to me really. I was hoping Canada would have had their 1/4 final in TO. Hockey Canada really botched this up.

Hard to believe how many empty seats there are.
Ticket sticker prices are insane, many said that Montrealers wouldn't pay it, they were right.

This tourney should stick to CHL barns. NHL are far too big.
They get sell outs or near sell outs for all the TC games in Toronto and I went to 2 games where Canada wasn't playing and they had over 13,000 for each , so double to triple what the average CHL barn holds.
Would think they have 12-13 in Montreal tonight , so still a good number

Agreed. Inexcusable that we can't sell out a TC game. Hockey Canada has some 'splainin' to do.

Doesn't look like 12-13000 to me unless they're dressed up as seats.
2 years ago when it was in toronto and Montreal they said they got better then expected turnouts for lesser games. I remember seeing a Swiss vs Czech game I think that was awesome....people were cheering for the underdogs. Toronto is a better hockey market but they made the commitment years ago to split the duties with Montreal. Now they know better
