I saw that picture and thought about what he was thinking.
It's got to be quite a feeling leaving that place for the last time. It's closing a chapter on his life, and leaving the position of being the most powerful man in the world.
This afternoon he goes back to being a regular guy. No army at his command, no codes for the nukes, no chef, no putting green on the side lawn.

Notwithstanding my feelings for Trump the politician, I wish him, his Cabinet and Americans the best of luck. A vibrant America is good for Canada and Canadians. Conversely, when America ails so do we.
America might do fine with someone that is not politically correct in what he says or acts and has made a lot of people stand on guard but maybe his bold, straight forward attitude to get something done without being pushed around and not afraid to say F..........U may just work for America, politics is a game with religion that no one views will ever win an argument but in 6 months he will either be impeached or shot or make some disbeliever's into some believers,

Wow, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir racing through "America The Beautiful" at quite a pace. Maybe they should have cut out a verse, or chosen a shorter song. Maybe "Smells Like Teen Spirit"? Gotta get the oath right at noon!
quite possibly. He did what he could while in office and it's probably the most stressful job there is. I've left jobs before that I both liked and didn't like and there was always a sense of relief and closure.

It's got to be a powerful moment.
his life has changed to the degree where he has now become a liability.
My favourite tweet of the morning, from a fake Prince Charles account:
President Trump's first official act will be to evict a black family from the White House. Awkward.
Anyways, moving on, did anyone else think Jackie Evancho was weak singing the National Anthem? I remember when she was in one of those singing contests at about age 11 and sounded like a mature adult opera singer. She was much better then. Perhaps she's got a cold?
