    What's the process? Potential buyers come with their best bids and then the field is narrowed and they keep bidding? Or is it just one bid? Not something I'd be interested in. We helped my son arrive at a number he could live with when bidding on a condo. He won but then got selling price lowered with the discovery of Kitec plumbing.

      We usually ask them to bring their best bids but if there are bids that are so close, we do ask if they want to improve. The ones that really irk me are the ones that say you get one shot and turn around and tell you they are sending back the top 3 to rebid. It's funny, we put a fair offer on a Pickering home for a golf nut and they tried the old sent them back to improve. My folks asked me what we should do and I said nothing because we gave them a good offer and for all we know it was already the best one. We did get the home without upping our bid.

          Hi Roy. Here's the history going back to when they bought the land. It doesn't show as being sold since. It was listed and cancelled and relisted but no takers so far. If you want to see the full listing LMK. Dave

              • Dave, I have always wondered about disclosure and liability rules. What must be disclosed? What if the vendor was not aware of the existence of the problem? What if the vendor paid for an inspection and the problem was not discovered during the inspection?Thanks.

                  To me if the vendor was not aware, there shouldn't be any liability.

                        That board opted out of the data sharing app. Not sure why. The last transaction shows $360,000 in 2014. The land registry hasn't got a new price yet so maybe it hasn't closed yet.

                          It was a recent listing, so very, very likely it hasn't closed yet. We were considering an offer on it, but found it was already under contract.
