Why do I think someone stuck her on that and raised it? Can't see her shimmying down the rope.

I guess she was bored and looking for something to do?
A different perspective? Doesn't appear to be scared or anything like that

I have done some stupid sh*t in my life. This one is beyond any of the stupid stuff I contemplated and didn't do. Then again, maybe I need to live a little more....

Good point. She's too clean to have shimmied down that cable.

                Re: wtf - crane girl!

She definitely doesn't look scared. So maybe she did shimmy/rappel down the cable.

She seems underdressed to have been out since 4:30AM.

They decided not to lower her down? Why? That's a heavy piece of equipment that's used daily to lift heavy stuff over populated areas: It's really, really safe. The operators are expert in lowering to within an inch.

Watched it live on BT. What they said:

                  1. She's reportedly a roof topper
                  2. The block that she ended up on after falling is loaded with pulleys. If any of the ropes the EMS team used got tangled in one of them, it would be very very bad.

                    What's a roof topper?

I just looked it up on Instagram. Now I know.

This isn't a dress rehearsal. Enjoy yourself. There's no do-over.

She's now safely on the ground. Not surprisingly, she was led away in handcuffs.

I was thinking EMS wouldn't need to be involved - just lower the block down.

However.... despite her obvious skills in being able to get to that position, I guess there's no way EMS could risk having her or her clothing get caught in the pulleys.

If emergency services could actually bill people for unnecessary calls for service we might be able to balance the liberal budget.

Definitely could not just lower her down. Everything she could hold on to would be moving. Im sure you can imagine what happens when your hand gets pulled through a tight spot.

If it were just a single part line with what's called a headache ball, then she could miley cyrus her way down on the ball.

Stiffer laws are need to deter these "thrill seekers" idiots. They often get off with a slap on the wrist trespassing charge. I hope she gets a hefty bill for this rescue.
