    a while back Mpare started a thread on Malala Yousafzai, a Pakistani teenager who received plaudits around the world for her courage and outspokenness.

    Businesswoman, city councillor and social activist Fatemeh Daneshvar tells Al Jazeera that she fears ‘nothing but God’.


    While still largely repressive towards women by our standards, Iran has the potential to be the most woman friendly Islamic nation in the world with its large number of University enrolled and highly educated women.

      This is a great story, not just about a woman in Iran, but also an example of getting to one's goals through perseverance, goal setting, dealing with obstacles, becoming a ground breaker and risk taking. Thanks for sharing.

        The situation in Iran now is incredible, especially for the women because they know they very much will be killed but still summon enough courage to protest.
