          Re: Long weekend plans?

...sounds like a lot of us are 'not counting on golfing on Sunday' (i.e., the weather forecast) ....and catching-up on the 'honey-do' list
Every great idea starts out as a blasphemy

Yard work etc today...HOPEFULLY in a scramble at Ariss Valley tomorrow....and probably yard work again on Monday. We just added another large garden around our house so it needs a lot of work. Good thing I enjoy it.

                Re: Long weekend plans?

Had a drive in the TBird. Yard work done. Laundry nearly caught up. BBQ chicken lined up for dinner.

No golf this weekend, but I will BBQ any day that is sunny enough. Tomorrow likely out.
Still getting the hang of this game!

This was outstanding. About 12 minutes of inclass talk about friction and apexes, then into either the 911, or the Cayman. 3 runs at on demand braking, 3 runs through a pylon autocross course then onto the track for about a dozen laps spread between the 2 cars. Brand new cars and rubber, top notch all the way. If this comes up again it is a fantastic value for a chance to hammer the throttle on some high end cars. Highly recommended.

                    Re: Long weekend plans?

Trying to put finishing touches to a first draft of an article on early cartography of Toronto. Spending more time than I care to checking citations protocol with Chicago Manual of Style.

No regrets that it is supposed to rain Sunday. Keeping up with this discussion group is a time consuming diversion.

Fortunately there are no rules limiting the number of golf balls you can carry during a match!

Not likely golfing now as I spent the nice day of the weekend driving to and from my driving course.

                        Re: Long weekend plans?

I have a problem, my wife is having a gathering of 9 women at our Condo, and the rain will prevent my plans to play 36
Have to think of something to do, can't stay at home or I will have a headache for days

Three day Ryder Cup style tournament at my club. Day one down yesterday, two man scramble match play. Today, 4 ball team match play. Tomorrow, singles match play.

Loads of fun and everyone in a good mood. Love this stuff.
