spent ten minutes writing a thread only to have it locked but it had to be politicly correct and it took too much time.

It would be nice if some explanations could be offered as opposed to threads being locked for no reason.

I understand that being a mod is a thankless job (I'm a mod on a construction related forum so I know of what I speak) but this banning of racmbs and the subsequent locking of a thread about it is leaving a really bad taste in a lot of people's mouths.

Are the powers that be going to address this issue or try to sweep it under the carpet???
