I'm really looking to the day when people "play nice with one another" and we have a happy community.

Very well put, H. It's time for ALL of us to play nice in the sandbox. If the constant public bickering continues, there won't be much of a sandbox to play in for very long. Take a pill people. It's only a forum.

Site feedback is definitely a tool that should be used instead of going on the public attack but as I said, open debate is not necessarily an attack.

Clearly we need a section like the Hanlon's Point Beach - Clothing Optional posting, for those who like to post nude The mind boggles at the thought. I'm glad we don't have live webcams attached to the post

Seriously though I goshawks and DKS_34's comments. Lets all play nice in the sandbox so that we continue to have a nice sandbox to play in.

I think it's very interesting how the issues that started all of the problems last Friday are still being swept under the carpet and it's now turning into a love fest.

I posted several very well thought out and concise explanation why I was upset and why I asked for an apology from a moderator when said moderator banned other members for much less. However, all of those threads and posts were deleted without so much as an explanation. I even sent a PM to an administrator but my questions in the PM have not been answered as of yet.

I understand that a lot of people think that this should just all be forgotten but my humble opinion is that it should have been addressed last weekend and then it all would have been forgotten. However, the holier than thou attitude that has been displayed lately is what has contributed to members leaving and finding alternative places to talk golf, etc.

Anyway, I'm sure this posting will get deleted soon and/or the whole thread will get locked like all the others.

I really don't see the point. el tigre isn't going to apologize, the comment he made has been edited/"swept under the carpet", my PMs to Mok went nowhere and the unwarranted ban of racmbs (he was banned for posting a poll and nothing else - I know, because I talked to him) was ridiculous.

There is surprisingly a lot of truth to this statement.

Talking to the person that got banned might not give you the best idea to the reasons.

In this case, it WAS the best way. Let's please not get into a banter back and forth over this. I know what happened.

I know I brought the above up but it was just another example as to the ongoing problems. The issues surrounding last Friday's fiasco and the other points I noted have not been addressed nor resolved.

Your's is the forum that is losing members not mine. I am just providing constructive feedback. I'm resigned to the fact that no one is going to address my original concerns over everything that happened last weekend.
