Unwanted Message Notifications

For the last three days I have been getting multiple Notifications from threads that I do not read, never mind post in. Anyone else experience this?

I just got three notices about the Maple Leafs thread. I have not watched hockey since the Mahovlich brothers played for Montreal.

Yes, I’ve been getting notifications for a few months now, tried to stop them but can’t figure it out. I just delete about 12-15 every day.

on the top right, there is a subscribe option on a thread. You may have inadvertently clicked this. It will have a checkmark and the word "subscribed" in a box. Click it again and it will show "+ subscribe"

I was getting L.A.B. putter notifications but not anymore due to your insight so thanks.
Great it worked since I'm not interested in a different putter than what I game now.

I did that and it had no remedial effect.

Go to the dropdown menu in the top right corner, click user settings, then click the notifications tab. See if anything is clicked here. click reset fields to remove any previous selections.

What is you'd only watched Leafs hockey for 50 years?

I imagine the penalty would be a lot more severe (although those 50 years were a lot of punishment themselves....)

And on the flip side of that token....anyone watching the Leafs for the last 50 years especially deserve to be invested into The Order of Canada (coincidentally, also established in 1967 - the last year the Leafs won the Staley Cup), for their unyielding dedication, persistent optimism, hope and patriotic support for the buds.

Well then it's sad but at least your participating in the sport that Canada excels at.
