Wife and I are thinking of getting one but our concern is the ability to make photo books, edit photos, etc.. I've heard that its a pain to play/edit photos and make photo books on the iPad. Can anyone correct me? thx

Thanks for the lecture but I've been running a Mac since oh, 1987. I have bought a lot of great Apple products but I have also bought some crap. Want to buy a Newton? I have one, barely used.

How about the worst mouse ever - the puck mouse. Then how about the second worst mouse ever - the Apple Mighty Mouse. Got them both. Hardly used.

I'm in the computer business. We call v1 products "public beta test".

Somewhat off-topic, but since this is an Apple thread I figured I would ask.

Can anyone recommend a good free program for converting my video files (avi, wmv etc.) into files that will play on my iPod Touch/iPad (if I get one)?

I did do a Google search, but so many options come up and I don't want to try them all to find a good one. I'm looking for simple and easy to use, advanced features not required.

Hmmm, you'd think that if it was indeed crap that you'd be willing to get rid of it for any price, including much less than you paid for it.

I guess you have your reasons...
