Golf and Basketball . . . and Larry Brown is suspended for 9 games.

Doesn't make much sense for the golf team. SMU had imposed his own sanction to the Golf Team for this year, hoping that would be enough. DeChambeau should just turn pro...

Problem here that he earned invitations into next year's first three major championships, the Masters, U.S. Open and British Open. as an amateur
he lose these if he turned pro.

I just watched the 30 for 30 "Pony Excess" on SMU's football program getting the "death penalty" from all of the infractions back in the 80's. Set their football program back 25 years.

You'd think everyone, including boosters, would learn regardless of how many years have gone by.
