Players go-low at The Prodigy Headwear Tournament
Burlington (July 6, 2010) – It was another scorching hot day on the course as the GTAAT’s B and C Flights finished up The Prodigy Headwear Tournament. Another day in forty degree weather posed a challenge on the GTAAT’s competitors, as they tried to stay hydrated and not let the uncomfortable temperatures get them off their games. But, again, that was all the players had to battle, as near perfect course conditions on Hidden Lake’s New Course left any scoring up to the player’s ability. A slightly larger field participated in today’s event (70) than yesterday’s Championship and A Flight tournament, adding to the challenge that player’s had to face today, forcing contenders to really go-low if they were to have a chance at taking home today’s titles.
