Just need to find that happy place again, I'm sure hitting balls on the range will help make that happen. I just hope Covid can go away fro Vic Valley can go back to being empty again, tired of 20+ on that range when it used to be me and a couple others...
I hear you...I always hit balls at Vic East, Vic Valley balls are limited distance balls...drives me crazy trying to hit them harder and harder to get my normal distance.

I'll be at the range every day if possible from noon to 1 if interested.

Didn't know they were limited. I get pretty close to my usual distances from there and the yardage markers aren't that far off when lasered. At times I can carry the back netting on the left, so don't really want regular balls if this is actually the case...

Absolutely agree he will be greatly missed. He was there for my lowest round ever at Cambridge G&CC and wasn't sure what to do...if he should keep talking to me or "sit at the end of the bench and leave the pitcher alone". LOL He talked me through that round to a nice 68.

Andrew, didn’t know you gave up the game. Welcome back. If you are looking for something to do or add, organize another outing for the Nuts at the Vic. I remember coming down for one, 6 or 7 years ago. It was a blast.

I have thought about putting one of these off again...it was a great time to catch up with people you haven't seen in a long time and shoot some stick. There are some unfortunate things that go with these, in particular some not showing up and being on the hook for a tee time.

I've been thinking of a 3wheel push cart to see if it makes things any easier as I have carried my bag for years....thoughts anyone?

The only time they aren't easier is going up steeper inclines, then it kind of sucks. You can try mine out at the start of the year to see if you like the clicgears.

Thank you very much for the kind offer its greatly appreciated!

So, as someone asked for updates you wouldn't think there would be any yet, HOWEVER, I have my putting matt red hot (still waiting on the new putter...) I reshafted my driver, 3 wood, and 5 wood with Project X Hzrdus Yellow 6.5. 'New' irons and wedges are all regripped, picked up two new pairs of shoes, shag bag for short game practice.

Unfortunately, I haven't posted any scores in the GAO since 2014! So....it will be a spring like no other to get some rounds under my belt and start posting.

One of my bags is full of things I've never swung before, so should be interesting. Other will have have all new graphite shafts that are significantly lighter in weight, so another interesting test

Also selling/trading off the irons that I've had the most confidence in and trying a couple other things out, so should be interesting on that front.

When I started my cap back up last year, it had only lapsed 3 years, so not near as bad.
