I watched a bit and was mesmerized by the hair, it must take his hairdresser a long time to pull that off.

If you look really closely it looks like long thin hairs carefully arranged over a bald on top head.

      • That anyone buys his piety act astounds me. I'll never understand it.

We Should Thank Trump for Exposing the National Prayer Breakfast as an All-American Scam
The president is right to call out Nancy Pelosi's claims that she prays for him as absurd.
This isn't a dress rehearsal. Enjoy yourself. There's no do-over.

Maybe the NPB should take their cue from The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am and tell Trump that he’s not welcome there again.

Cars in a nation like Denmark are certainly not a necessity.

I would be willing to pay more tax if the government used the money wisely. For instance ensuring clean water for some Indigenous communities.

When the rich get richer the poor do not always get poorer. That is why we measure income disparity. Examples are the Great Depression and the Great Recession. Even more alarmingly the middle class is now also getting squeezed.

“The rich get richer and the poor get much less poor”?
Care to show any stats or proof for this statement?

This is denmark. I bet they wish they could afford a car.

I'm pretty sure that just about everyone would accept that in return for universal health care and free education.

Good lord...corporate America and the NRA gun slinging freedom fighters have the American mind so conditioned against the "S" word they will forego medical care for all so the war against the communist threat doesn't get a foothold in Putin's America.

                        I'll bet they don't.

A lot of people enjoy the ride, it keeps them healthy, it's invigorating, there are way fewer hassles with parking, low maintenance.

That's exactly what is happening to all (most) of my friends' and siblings kids. They don't want the hassle or the cost of car ownership, and that's right here.

They've all got decent jobs, but the tradeoffs of maintaining a car just don't fit their lives, especially with the way the cost of housing has gone up.

And Danes (being lefties) also care about all the negative impacts that cars have, and try to reduce those and get the drivers to pay more of their share of the costs to society.

Lots of places in Europe it is a PITA to own a car. They have great transportation networks and the expense and hassle is sometimes not worth it. My friend just moved to Manhattan and same thing, no need for a car and he could afford just about anything out there.

I don't think is correct. Here's some charts that show the US has some of the highest income inequality in the world. They also have some of the highest poverty rates in the world too. If your statement were true, the poverty rates would be lower than those of 'socialist' countries like Denmark, Sweden, etc. These charts show that there is a strong correlation between income inequality and poverty rates. Trump is doing his best to make those gaps are wider. Canada seems to have a better balance.
