yep, at my high school reunion last year, someone mentioned a name that I hadn't heard in 30 years, I couldn't picture the face but the name was familiar. Even after he showed up, I still couldn't place him. I still read the on-line version of the local news rag from my home town. Occasionally high school friends and acquaintances from the 60's and early 70's are pictured....not always in the court docket section, by the way. Unless there was a name attached, there is no way I would have recognized any of these people.
Once went to a function in the old home town and noted a very old priest with a large tuft of really gray hair. I thought to myself that the church is really hanging on to the old guard, who should really be well into retirement. Turns out the fellow was a high school classmate.
Fortunately there are no rules limiting the number of golf balls you can carry during a match!Comment
