Last time was a few years back, but not bad at all. Breakfast is good, dinner we had steaks and usual bar food, everything was up to par for sure.

We played Sugarbush Golf Course on the way up in Davison, near Flint. Big Shooter's favourite course. You could also play the Timbers or the Fortress in Frankenmuth or Apple Mountain in Saginaw.

I'm going to investigate this option ... thanks for offering the recommendation.

I believe the people at Lakewood Shores will be at the Toronto Golf Show this year....but coming from Wingham might be about the same distance as Michigan!

Really like the Fortress , one of my favourites and the Timbers is certainly worth the time

If we were to play only 3 courses or play one twice, then which 1 of the 4 should we drop:

• Sugarbush in Davison
• Timbers in Frankenmuth
• Fortress in Frankenmuth
• Apple Mountain in Saginaw

Drop Sugarbush.
Its good but i think the others will be way better.
